Ln. Jahanara Begum is the founder charter President of the "Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat Elite" and is currently serving as Leo Adviser and Club Director of Chittagong Parijat Elite, Lions Club, District -315 B4, Bangladesh. She is a renowned face in the Banking sector working relentlessly since 1987. Passion to work for the social cause especially for the women and the children, she has been working with "CODEC" Community Development Centre as Women Affairs Secretery. She is the Lifetime Member of Chittagong Lions Foundation and "WORK FOR DISABLED" and also a General member of "Ghashful."

Ln. Jahanara Begum is known for her acumen in the area of Trade Finance Busines, Import& Export and inter-personal communication skills that attributes in her career and personality. At present, she is working as Senior Vice President, at ONE Bank Ltd SME-2, Corporate Head Quarter, Chittagong Zone. Meanwhile, also served as the Manager of Chandgaon branch and CDA Avenue branch of ONE Bank Ltd, Chittagong Zone untills 2018.

Ln. Jahanara Begum started her career as a prudent Banker in 1987 in Foreign Exchange department, at AB bank LTD in Chittagong. Since then she has been working deligently in the banking sector for the benefit of rapid growth of an organization and introducing modern skill and management practice.

Ln. Shamiha Salim is an energetic lady pursuing her career in the C&F Business and social activities sector to satisfy everybody and contribute to the society as well. She is born and brought up in an aristocrat family in Chittagong. Personally she has the excellent skills on comprehensive problem solving, ability to deal with people diplomatically, verbal and written communication & team facilitations. She has obtained B.Sc. (Hons) in Child Development & Family Relationship from Home Economics College, under Dhaka University. She is also acquainted with extra-curricular activities, completed a Course on Management of Exceptional Children, Civil Defense Training Course, Girl Guide Training Course. She has participated in an International Camp Kemaas 85 in Penang, Malaysia. Her area of interest is cooking, hand embroidery, interior decoration, social work, traveling & music. She is wife of Late Dr. Sharfuddin Mohammed Iqbal. At present, she is working as CEO in a C&F Firm, M/S Kavasji Nariman & Co. and as LCIF Coordinator, Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat Elite, District-315B4, Bangladesh; She is life member of Chittagong Lions Foundation, Red Crescent Hospital & Chittagong Foundation Trust.

Ln Homayra Kabir Chowdhury is a strategic thinker and a proactive leader with vast experience in community services and academic sectors. She is a talent for developing people, nurturing working relationships and implementing professional standards. Along with her academic career, she also participates in different social welfare programs where she provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive. She is the former Principal of Ghashful Paran Rahman School and a life member of Chittagong Lions Foundation, Chittagong Foundation Trust, work for disable and many other organizations. She is currently holding the position of Zone Chairperson of Lions Club International District 315-B4, Bangladesh and Club Director of Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat Elite. Academically she holds Honours & masters Degrees in Social Sciences (Sociology) from Chittagong University.

Ln. Shipra Barua is a social worker developed her career in accounts profession in Ghashful. She has completed B.Com (Pass) from University of Chittagong. Her husband Samit Barua is a businessman. She has a one daughter. She has a long 29 years of experience working in accounting profession.Her area of interest is travelling, shopping and music.She is devoted to work for women and child development. She has participated in various national and international workshop and seminar. At present, she is working as Account Manager of Ghashful.

Ms. Yasmeen Ahmed, Proprietor of Herald Traders is a prolific and successful entrepreneur in the field of leather footwear business. She has completed her graduation from Dhaka Open University. Ms. Ahmed started her career with Thai Airways International PCL and successfully served there for long 21 years as an Administrative Manager. 

Ms. Ahmed came from a noble Muslim family.Family legacy and her own inherent qualities gave her a great sense of value and direction which inspired her to bring successes in every sphere of life. 

After sudden death of her husband, Ms. Ahmed entered into business world and since then has been brilliantly running her own leather business. In parallel doing business, she participates many fairs and carnivals and demonstrates her leather products and receives accolades and appreciations. She also attends a number of seminars and courses at home and abroad. 

In addition, she holds various dignified positions of some NGOs and Associations and also actively involved in different social works. At present, she is on the Board of Ghashful NGO (1^st NGO in Ctg.) She is also the member of Bangladesh Federation of Women Entrepreneurs (BFWE), member of Professional Fellows Exchange Program of US State Department and also a member of Bangladesh Young Entrepreneurs (BYE2), Women Entrepreneurs Association (WEA) and SME Foundation. Ms. Ahmed is a founding member of Administrative Professional Welfare Association of Bangladesh (APWAB) since 1995 and now holds the exalted position of the President of APWAB.

Jhuma Rahman is an Early Childhood Educator. She has a MA in English Literature from Dhaka University. Ms. Rahman started her career in BRAC, the largest NGO, Non Folmal Education Program as a Material Developer in the Chandina Learning Improvement Project. She also taught in Chittagong Grammar School as a teacher. Later Ms.Rahman moved to Canada.  She continued her passion for working with children in a new country. Ms. Rahman did her Diploma in Early Childhood Education from George Brown College, Toronto. She worked in Community Living Toronto as an Instructor in Scarborough ETS Program. She worked with Special Need individuals to enhance their social skills and work skills. She also worked in different Education Program: South Asian Family Support Program, Hillcrest Day Nursery, McLean House Daycare and different Lab Schools of George Brown College in Canada as an Early Childhood educator. Ms. Rahman joined in Aurora International School, Dhaka after moving to Bangladesh. She was Joint Secretary of Ghashful, National NGO of Bangladesh.

Ln. Naznin Rahman was born in a respective Muslim family in Noagaon. She has obtained BA (Pass) from Narayanganj in 1987. Her father Md. Azizur Rahman was a renowned politician and was elected as Member of Parliament of Noagaon-1, her husband Aftabur Rahman Jafree is the Executive Director of Ghashful. Naznin Rahman is a successful woman entrepreneur and the proprietor of S.S. Boutiques. She has the expertise on handicrafts, hand embroidery & sewing and creating employment opportunities for the poor women in her boutique shop. Her area of interest is traveling; creativity is an extra-ordinary quality of her. She has exposure to abroad in Malaysia and India.

Ln. Abeda Begum is a social worker in the field of development. She has completed BA (Pass) from Nasirabad Govt. College, Chittagong. Her husband Mr. Farid Uddin is businessman. She has a long 33 years of experience working in the area of gender, livelihood security, human rights issues & women and child development issues. She is acquainted with developing project planning and implementing in the field through supervising and providing technical support. She has the expertise in co-ordination and networking. Her area of interest is traveling, shopping & music. She has participated in various workshops, seminars & has exposure to Kolkata, Soudi-Arabia. Last year, she retired as Deputy Director of the Ghashful Micro-finance program.

Ln. Shuraha Salim Nazmaul Shukti was born in an elite family in a Chittagong on 27th December 1980. She got married with Dr. Naser Nazmul MD On 2001. She completed her associated degree from Danville Community College, USA in Applied Science Subject was Accounting. She is very dedicated to serve the distressed humanity.

Ln. Dr. Sheikh Shafiul Azam is a renowned physian in Chittagong. Once upon a time he was a member of city Leo club. He is a freedomfighter and also involved with various social and charitable institutions. He is the Chairman of Red Crescent Hospital., Chittagong wings. His Spouse Mrs. Hasina is also a social-worker.

M. Khaled Aaref is a retired architect and management consultant by profession. He had completed his bachelors from University of Houston and graduate studies from Aston University in the UK. He practices his profession in the US, Kuwait, and Bangladesh, before becoming the founding director of ‘Edward M Kennedy Center for Public Service and the Arts’ in Dhaka. As the son of former district governor Banker M. Khaled (’73-’74), he grew up immersed in Lionism from childhood. Currently he resides in Toronto.

Zareen Mahmud Hosein is the Founding Partner of Snehasish Mahmud & Co., Chartered Accountants.
Ms. Hosein is the Founder and ED of HerStory Foundation. The organization focuses on gender equality and quality education in Bangladesh. She is the Editor of HerStories: Adventures of SuperGirls, Volumes 1 & 2, based on real life stories of 42 homegrown SuperGirls.
She serves on the Governing Body of Sajida Foundation and is a member of its Audit Committee. She is a Director at Shasha Denims Limited and serves on its Audit Committee. She is also a member of the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Mohila Samity. Previously Ms. Hosein served on the Board of Aga Khan Foundation Bangladesh. She was also the President of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Bangladesh and Genaral Body Member of Ghashful.
Ms. Hosein started her career in New York City Mayor’s Budget Office and then worked in KPMG LLP in New York City before moving to Bangladesh. In Bangladesh she previously worked at ACNABIN Chartered Accountants and served as a Consultant for the World Bank.
She has a BA in Economics from Smith College and an MPA from New York University. She qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in the USA and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh.

Parveen Mahmud, FCA joined Ghashful Board on August 31, 2020. She is the Chairperson, Board of Governors, RDRS Bangladesh. She was the Founding Managing Director, Grameen Telecom Trust and Deputy Managing Director of PKSF. In her varied professional career Ms. Mahmud has been working with social innovations, entrepreneurship, institutional and inclusive sustainable development. She was a practicing-chartered accountant. Ms. Mahmud was the first woman President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) for the year 2011, and also the first female board member of the South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA), apex accounting professional body of the SAARC and served ICAB Council for three terms. She was the Founding Chairperson of CA Female Forum-Women in Leadership Committee, ICAB till 2019 and was the Vice Chairperson of the Women in Leadership Committee of SAFA from 2018-2020. She sits in numerous Boards including BRAC International, Manusher Jonnyo Foundation, PKSF, CPD, Ghashful, Heroes for All, CholPori Ltd., HerStory Foundation, Moner Bondhu, Cider International School, etc. She is Independent Director of Apex Footwear Ltd., Berger Paints Bangladesh Ltd. and Mario Bangladesh Ltd.. She was the Chairperson of MIDAS, Shasha Denims Ltd., Underprivileged Children Education Program (UCEP), Bangladesh and Acid Survivors’ Foundation. Ms. Mahmud was the member, National Advisory Panel for SME Development of Bangladesh and founding board member of SME Foundation. Her husband name late Mozaffar Mia. She is an educator, a social worker. She is currently a member of Ghashful Advisory Committee and Ghashful Barta.

Mr. Imran A. Hasan is a Chartered Accountant and a fellow member (enroll # 971) of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB). He obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Supply Chain Management (PGDSCM) from Bangladesh Institute of Management (BIMS) in 2014 and got specialized training on IT and Supply Chain Management under HIDA program, AOTS, Japan in 2016. Currently, he is working as a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of KDS Textile Mills Limited, KDS Group, Chittagong. He has got multi-faced working experience of more than 20 years with various private sector, MNC and public non-governmental organization. He served as National Finance Consultant under Bangladesh Ministry of H & FW for various donor aided projects in 2008-2009.He has been elected as a member of ICAB Chittagong Regional Committee for the period 2016-2018 and acted as an honorary Secretary in 2017. He again has been elected as a member of ICAB Chittagong Regional Committee for the period 2019- 2021 and will act as a Chairman for the term 2019.

I am Roksana Parveen Quayyaim, a daughter of Chattogram, currently living in Dhaka with my family. Coming from a family of industrialists I have grown to love building and growing businesses, but in our country there are still very few female entrepreneurs and leaders compared to male business personals. Thus i would like to take this opportunity and platform of Lions to promote and work in projects related to female empowerment, female entrepreneurship and projects against gender discrimination.

Amrin Husain has completed her graduation from Independent University of Bangladesh in finance and completed internship at Eastern Bank Ltd (O.R Nizam Road branch). She has started her career as a teacher in Frobel Play School and rendered her teaching service for 2 years. Then, Amrin Husan joined CIDER International school and currently working as an Academic Coordinator.
Other than her promising career path and happy family life, she has also dedicated herself to social work. She is one of the board members of “Charulata Bidyapith” a small school with big Hope. This school gives a ray of hope for underprivileged children to get a well and effective education in Chittagong. To widen her dedication to the society. Ln. Amrin Rahman is mother of two children and was born on 29th May,1984. She is married to Mr. Reaz Hussain, Director of Strategic Quality Management of Imperial Hospital, Chittagong.

Suraiya Zannath holds the unique distinction ofbeing the first-ever woman in Bangladesh toqualify as a Chartered Accountant (CA) from ICAB. Starting her career with the world-renowned Non-Government OrganizationBRAC, Suraiyasoonbecame the Chief Financial Officer forSave the Children (USA) Dhaka Office. Shehas been working as Lead FinancialManagement Specialist with the World Bank, South Asia Region, based in Dhaka. She is currently on a specialassignment with Governance Global Unit in Washington DC.Suraiya has worked extensively to support multiple South& ast Asiancountries in strengthening country systemin the areas corporate governance,Public Financial Management system, fiscal accountability and transparencyand legislative oversight. She was instrumental in promoting Donors’ harmonization, public-private partisanshipfor improved aid delivery and in developing professional accountancy education to international standards. She played a pivotal role for bringing development partners under a joint agreement for supporting Bangladesh

Jasmine AktherBappy is Assistant Manager Publications of GHASHFUL - a non Govt. and nonprofit Development Organization. She looks after, Public Relations & Publications. Currently she is associated with R & D Wing of Ghashful. She has been accomplishing all the responsibilities of her position since 2015. She is painstaking and hard working She isalso a member of the Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat Elite.
She started her career at Ghashful in 2010 and has since been involved in multidimensional tasks of the organization with integrity. She became associated with Ghashful’s Education Support Program (ESP) in 2017 and she also supervises Child Development Centre (CDC) of Ghashful. She has actively participated in many social works throughout her life and has excellent organizing and communication skills.
She completed her Masters from Chittagong College in Bangla, and had done her undergraduates from Aprana Charan Girls High School, Chattogram. She loves reading books, traveling & listening to music.

Ln. Rownak is an accomplished career counseling professional with more than 10 years of experience providing career advisingand employment services to a wide range of diverse professionals. She is an articulate communicator and attentive, active listener who possess exceptional verbal, collaborative facilitation,and presentation skills. She is a certified trainer and facilitator, with a Master’sand Bachelor’s degreesin English Literature from Chittagong University. She was born and raised in a renowned family in Chittagong.  Currently she is living in Toronto, Ontario with her husband and two daughters for the last 20 years. Her husband is a CPA (CA) who is working in a CA firm in Toronto.

A native of Chittagong by birth, I have been working to establish myself as an entrepreneur based in Chittagong, the commercial capital of Chittagong. I like to present myself as a social worker. I spend some of my busy time trying to stand by the side of the poor and disadvantaged through my favourite club Lions Club of Chittagong Parijat Elite. I am AFROZA GONI IBRAHIM, hailing from Chittagong. I have completed my graduation from Independent University and I am currently the head of the marketing department of IBRAHIM POLYGRAPHIC INDUSTRIES, which is our own industry. I have always been eager to be a part of social works and be known as an activist. I am lucky to have the support of my family members that makes me more dedicated in my works. I believe in equality between men and women for all types of activities. I am proud to have been a new part of this group, and am looking forward to get involved in female empowerment and other projects with dedication.

Bebe Howa Sneha, was born in Comilla. She completed her MBS from the Department of Accounting under the National University and did B.Ed. Professionally she is a teacher.
She likes to innovate by using her creativity. Besides teaching, she is also an entrepreneur, trying to establish "Hawai Trend" as a brand.She is interested in working for the development of disadvantaged women and children in the future. She has already given free sewing training above hundreds of women.

Kashfia Mahmud is a successful entrepreneur based in Bangladesh. Shestarted Clementine Data Solutions in 2016 in Bangladesh as a company driven to help businesses solvequestions based on Image and Data Analytics. The company’s core strength lies in leveraging machine learningand image recognition toanalyze key information from Images and Data. Clementine Data Solutions has abroad array of international clients including Procter & Gamble and Coty Inc. along with several other researchagencies and crowdsourcing companies. Sameera Mahmud has a LL.B (Hons) degree from Northumbria University in Newcastle, UK and has a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Commercial law specializing in Banking and Finance from the City University of London, UK. She has been called to the Bar of England and Wales in the year 2011 by the Hon’ble Society of Lincoln’s Inn, completing her Bar Professional Training Course with “Very Competent”. Sameera also qualified as an Advocate in Bangladesh in 2012 and enrolled as an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh in 2016. 

Sameera’s main practice area is Banking, Finance, Real-Estate & Development, Employment & Labour, Civil, Corporate, Litigation and Arbitration. Sameera has 10+ years of experience in the field of law and her legal career began as an Associate at Rokanuddin Mahmud in 2011. During her tenure at the chamber she gained extensive experience in negotiating contracts, drafting legal documents, guiding on regulatory and compliance matters, formulating employee handbooks for various corporations, analyzing legal issues relating to various company matters, advising and guiding foreign investments, acquisitions and mergers and more. 

Sameera joined The Legal Circle in 2016, where she oversees the Firm’s banking practice. She has extensively dealt with complex loan advisory transactions including loan syndication. She has experience dealing with security enforcement matters, including enforcement in Artha Rin Adalat (Money loan Court). 

She has facilitated issues between clients by assisting in out-of-court settlements and compromises. Her experience and legal practice also includes matters related to human resource, employment and labor issues, telecommunication matters, government and regulatory matters, banking and financial services, including syndication, lease finance, corporate finance and mobile banking. She has also worked as a Legal Counsel for bKash Limited and was responsible for ensuring compliance with regulatory affairs, advising on employment matters, company matters, litigations, mobile banking and finance.

This is Latefa Ansery Runa working as a devotional broadcast journalist in Chittagong bureau office;Dipta Tv. Runa Ansery completed her post graduation in political science in Government City College, Chittagong. She's General Secretary of TV Journalists Association Chittagong, Joint Secretary of Central Committee of Bangladesh Women Journalists Center. Her father Farrukh Ahmed Ansari was an engineer of Roads and Highway's and a first class contractor. Her mother Nurun Nahar is a housewife.She was a devoted organizer and member of various social and cultural organizations. Singing was her favourite hobby. At one time she used to do dramas and songs. she has been loving journalism since she was a child. Beside this she always had a desire to take journalism as a profession. Ms. Sarah Ahmad Abedin is the Founder and CEO of Break the Tide, a 501c (3) nonprofit organization in the United States. Break the Tide provides a fundraising platform for nonprofit organizations to help raise funds for empowering women, children and underprivileged communities. She is a Board member of Sambhali U.S., a nonprofit organization in the United States. Sambhali U.S. is a volunteer organization for Girls and Women Empowerment in Jodhpur, India. She is an Advisor of SBK Foundation in Bangladesh. Sarah is also a Board member of Gultaz Memorial School and College in Doulatpur, Chattogram, Bangladesh. Ms. Abedin has been a long-time sponsor of Save the Children, Women for Women International, Doctors without Borders, and other organizations. She has been influenced by the great works of numerous humanitarians, some in her immediate family but many whose lifeworks she admired since early childhood. I also worked in the field of Accounting & its system Development, Auditing as well as internal control system & risk management, Human Resource Management & Development and capacity building of staff personnel, planning, budget preparation (yearly & multi-year), fund management, Micro-Finance, Development project Design & preparation, preparation of management information system and social, Live & livelihood and economic development work & development management in a leading national NGO as a Senior Director-Finance & Administration.
As I am a CA Professional (passed Intermediate) and an MBA in Finance; I am also involve with consultancy work in the field of Accounting & its system development. Auditing as well as internal control system & risk management, project & budget preparation and various policy guideline (HR, Credit & implementations procedures etc.) under DANIDA, EC, USAID, GOB/DANIDA funded, Stromme Foundation-Norway, Save the Children (USA & UK). She is the current Chairperson and Founder Parent Member of Society for the Welfare of Autistic Children (SWAC)- apioneer organization in autism care in Bangladesh, which is an initiative by her son Arijit Chakma Prithu.
Previously she has worked in Agrani Bank as Senior Principal Officer, starting her career as in the year 1989.For raising fund for SWAC and implement its future initiatives, she went to self-retirement from banking sector. She actively organized fundraising events and awareness raising campaign on Autism across the country through the support of SWAC and corporate society.
Through her initiative SWAC set up a branch at Rangamati Hill District in 2011. SWAC had been awarded by the Honourable Prime Minister as a successful organization on 12thWorld Autism Awareness Day.
She has participated the “Capacity Building Program to Make the Right Real” in Seoul, Republic of Koreaas one of the DPO members, organized by Korean Disabled People's Development Institute (KODDI). I Jane Alam Titu. Son of Chittagong. A dramatist and graphic designer. I am the organizer and actor of 'Kathak Nattya Sampradya'. I have been associated with this organization for the past 27 years. Moreover, I am the owner of the advertising and publishing company 'Innovative'. I want to keep myself involved in creative work all the time. I act regularly on stage and TV. Besides, I am serving as the Chittagong coordinator of British Council and Dhaka Theater's 'DARE (Disability Arts: Redefining Empowerment)' project.

Mr Ali Bashir Noor was born and grew up in Chittagong City from a renowned Muslim BusinessFamily. He’s Grandfather village house is Haidgaon, Patiya, Chittagong. I am Shahidul Islam Russell, a fellow member of Association of Chartered Certified Accountant.
I am a bachelor in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University UK. Born in Chittagong I was raised in my home in a small hillside village Next to the beautiful Hathazari Bhatiyali Link road which is one of the best in kind criss crossed though hills and lakes!
During my post graduation and post qualification of ACCA, I served in a small accounting firm in London for 2 years time before I decided to come back to BD after spending almost 8 years in UK.
Though challenging,I have paved my place in professional career through joining KPMG Dhaka office, formerly known as Rahman Rahman Haque from 2012 till 2015.
Afterwards,I have joined one of the best known MNC Linde Bangladesh (formerly known as BOC) as a manager in Planning and Budgeting in 2015.
In 2018, at Linde I was picked by Managing Director to report directly to him to serve as a Business Analyst to MD.
In mid 2019, I have joined Brenntag Bangladesh which is a German Multinational operates in more than 86 countries as a Finance Controller. Subsequent in early 2022, I have been appointed as Cluster Finance lead for 4 countries includes Bangladesh, Korea, Philippines and Indonesia.
I am happily married person with 2 children, elder one is a boy and the younger one is just 3 months old daughter. My wife is a service holder at The City Bank who has completed her Masters in English.
I currently decide in Gulshan Dhaka and my workplace is in Kawranbazar.
It is always my genuine intention to join in social causes within my best possible effort even if it requires going out of comfort zone.

He has completed MSc. in Environmental Policy from the London School of Economics (LSE), UK, and BSc. in Environmental Management from Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), and completed schooling Chittagong Public School & College. Sakia Sultana is a professional cake artist since 2016. Born on 10th March 1980, she has completed her Masters from Chittagong University Philosophy Department in 2006. She completed her schooling from Dr. Khastgir School. Currently she is operating a business titled “Artsy Cakes” and is also involved in family business and various voluntary service organizations.

Md. Habibur Rahman is a MEP Engineer by profession and at present designated as a Master fisherman at R. V Meen Shandhani. He is the son of Md. Fazlul Haque and Momtaz Begum. He is married to Ms. Mousumi Akter and is blessed with two daughters named Humirah Afrin Tuba and Sidratul Montaha Tasnubha.
